Scott Simons, Principal Broker and cofounder of Simons & Leoni Home Loans, LLC offers his clients over 30 years of residential mortgage and consumer lending experience. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Southern College, in 1987.
Afterwards, Scott began his lending career as an entry-level manager and loan officer with Great Western Bank. He followed a traditional banking career until 1996 when he narrowed his focus exclusively to residential mortgage lending. He became a licensed Mortgage Broker in 1996, and then spent eight years working for Sharpe Mortgage Lending Services, Inc.
Scott specializes in Condo Conversion Developers with hard to place end-loans, for their buyers, at regular conforming rates. In 2000 Sharpe Mortgage made Scott the company’s Project Supervisor and Sr. Loan Officer for the largest conversion of apartments to condominiums in the Tampa Bay area – Harbour Island’s luxury Island Place and Island Walk condominiums.
His knowledge, creativity, competitive pricing and overall client satisfaction earned him Preferred Lender Status with the project’s premier national developer Crescent Heights of America. In conclusion, Scott has closed over $30,000,000 in residential home loans on Harbour Island alone.
